We are a group of genealogists living in and around, or with connections to, Thunder Bay, Ontario. We are a part of Ontario Ancestors, The Ontario Genealogical Society, and work on province-wide genealogical documentation with Ontario Ancestors, including the Strays Project, the Cemetery Projects, and The Ontario Name Index (TONI).
We meet the third Wednesday of every month from September to June. Our meetings start at 7 pm with a short business meeting followed by a presentation and time to share stories, brick walls, successes, and advice. Meetings can be virtual with ‘ZOOM’, in person or at a special location. Meeting information can be found here on our home page, check our calendar of events or sign up to our Facebook page!
The presentation topic varies quite a bit from month to month, ranging from how-tos, to resource discussions, to stories of members’ families. They are free and open to the public – we would love to have you join us.
If you have a topic or speaker you would like to suggest, please let us know!
